(Day-to-day) communication
We often communicate without words, with no eye contact and without listening. And fast. This makes demands on how we communicate. We need to think bigger, use our senses correctly and we need to learn to pass on information effectively. You develop cooperative and communication skills, your imagination, your visions, ideas and creativity through play.
Think bigger
Strengthen cooperation and learn about each other's strong and weak points using this exercise. You will focus on communication in the group. By building a 1m-high figure based on a mini-model and with no building instructions, you are all involved in an important project.
Deprived of your senses
You see communication from a different perspective when you are suddenly deprived of one of your senses. You soon discover that you have to find new methods in order to arrive at the correct result.
Caught in the middle
How do you best pass on information when you are not in direct contact with the end-user? In our daily lives, indirect communication, where information is passed on from one person to the next and then to a third, etc., creates misunderstandings. We challenge you to build a LEGO® figure, where instructions go from the instructor through a middleman to the person who is to build.
Consider the receiver
We often tend to forget that we are communicating with a person on the other side of the screen or the other end of the telephone. You have the chance to improve your skills at passing on information by building in pairs, where one issues instructions and the other builds based only on the instructions he or she receives.
